Typical Packaging aisle. Wanted packaging that was very different.
Wanted packaging with a pattern to give it a bold and retro look. This was my beginning idea.
Sometimes Revisions take longer than others. This was the first round of refinement out of four.
After the completion of my first box, I then began to make many different patterns and different versions of the packaging.
User Experience of MN State Fair App
A lot of research was done to see what the strengths and weaknesses were of the current app.
Major, Minor, and Nice to have features of the app were concluded to develop a main focus for the app.
Sketched out concept and ideation was then made.
A low fidelity prototype was created and "think out loud" tested on 6 individuals to get through the initial "bumps" of the app concept and navigation.
All rights given to Adam Turnman (absolutely not created by me) Love his work and used his imagery as a source of inspiration for the mid fidelity design of the app.
Final step of project (for now) Future testing would be completed if possible
I often will group mood boards, sketching, and the initial research phase for the client. This gives us the ability to see eye to eye and see many concepts early on.
Grouping the sketching, mood board and ideation, the client chose to group concepts one and two (very common).
First round of design development.
